Publishing in Top Journals - Insights on Preparing for Submission and Managing Reviewer Comments.
Three-day doctoral seminar with Jason Thatcher on September 22nd, 25th, and 26th, 2023.
The seminar will cover content on preparing manuscripts for submission to top journals as well as how to deal with reviewer comments in two plenary input sessions (Monday + Tuesday, 9:00 - 12:00).
In addition, there will be the opportunity for 12 of the participants to present their own research to the speaker and receive feedback in individual paper coaching sessions (on Friday and Monday/Tuesday both from 01:00 - 04:00 p.m).
On September 25th, there will be a networking event in the evening with the speaker and all participants.

The seminar is open to all graduates of the faculties associated with the ITeG (FB 05, 07, 15, 16).
The event is primarily intended for young scientists from Kassel.

Speaker:
Prof. Jason Thatcher
Jason Thatcher is one of the best published information systems management professors in the world and holds the Milton F. Stauffer Professorship in the Department of Management Information Systems at the Fox School of Business of Temple University. He also holds faculty appointments at the Technical University of Munich, the Information Technology University-Copenhagen, and Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Jason Thatcher‘s work appears in MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Journal of Applied Psychology, and other outlets. He appears on the MIS Quarterly’s most prolific authors list, placing him in the top 35 or so active researchers in the Information Systems discipline.
He serves as Senior Editor at Information Systems Research as well as Journal of the Association for Information Systems and has served as Senior Editor at MIS Quarterly.
He served on the editorial boards of the European Journal of Information Systems, Decision Sciences, and IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management. He was recognized as a top Associate Editor by Information Systems Research.
