Doctoral students and master students who research and publish in the environmental context can get to know relevant journals and their publishers more closely in this series of events. In this way, participants should be able to find out about journals (objective, next issue/focus, review procedures, etc. ) and to talk to editors. Once a semester, the GradZ invites an editor of a relevant journal to report on his/her work and role as editor. This provides an opportunity to discuss peer review processes, success factors and pitfalls in publishing a good paper with an experienced editor, or how constructive feedback can help in the writing process and paper development. One focus of many is on interdisciplinary journals.
