The career goal ‘professorship’ can be achieved in many different ways today. Academics should therefore inform themselves early on about the best path for them. Participants get an overview of the academic qualifications required to become a professor in Germany and the different paths that can lead to a professorship. The seminar also covers some legal requirements for the selection process for professorships at German universities.
