In this talk, Lara Schilling shares her still early-career path from completing her PhD at the University of Kassel to taking up an Assistant Professorship in Denmark. She reflects on her decisions between Germany and abroad, the application process, and her deliberate choice of a tenure-track position. Drawing on her personal experience, she offers reflections on the opportunities and challenges of an early Assistant Professorship and provides practical advice.
Prerequisites
The virtual postdoc meeting is an informal group of postdocs that meets once a months on the first Thursday from 12:30 to 13:30 pm.
Special guests take part in varying topics.
