Josephine Thomas, an alumna of the University of Kassel, offers insights into her job appointment procedure, with a focus on tips for the appointment negotiations. She received her appointment as a full professor in Machine Learning at the University of Greifswald in June 2025. Before joining the University of Greifswald she led the junior research group GAIN (https://gain-group.de/) at the University of Kassel. She received her PhD from the TU Dresden in 2017 and a diploma in physics from the TU Berlin in 2010.
As always, questions and discussion are welcome and are part of the meeting.
Prerequisites
The virtual postdoc meeting is an informal group of postdocs that meets once a months on the first Thursday from 12:30 to 13:30 pm.
Special guests take part in varying topics.
