Are you planning to continue your academic career abroad temporarily or permanently? The application procedures in other countries sometimes differ significantly from the German system. Are you looking for tips on applying for academic positions in Australia, the UK or Ireland? Then the virtual postdoc meeting on June 16 is the right place for you.

Our guest, the renowned researcher, Prof. Dr. Jens Zinn, Associate Professor at School of Social and Political Science at University of Melbourne, who has gained research experience in Australia, the UK and Sweden himself, will give a short keynote speech in which he will look back on his own experiences and give you advice for your own application in these countries.

Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to ask your questions and exchange ideas with Jens Zinn and other participants

Prerequisites

The virtual postdoc meeting is an informal group of postdocs that meets once a months - usually on the first Thursday from 12:30 to 13:30 pm.
Special guests take part in varying topics.
